Justin Langan is a Métis youth leader and is from the rural community of Swan River, Manitoba. He is a first year student at the University of Manitoba in the political studies program. He has also graduated from Assiniboine Community College with a diploma in journalism and communications. He is passionate about rural issues and sits on many committees and councils in Manitoba. Justin strives to create more opportunities for Manitoba youth, particularly for Indigenous youth and those that are from rural communities.

Bingo worker at a local Friendship Centre.
Best work moment
Driving fellow youth workers to a youth employment session that was two hours away. It was a great opportunity to listen, talk, network and have fun with other Métis Youth workers for the day.
Best transferable skill
Leadership, teamwork, unique experiences, and a passion for creativity.
Prime Minister! One can never dream too big. I would like to create positive change as much as possible, and I think becoming a politician is one way I can do so.
