What might a career path look like at your company? Is there opportunity to grow?
Definitely room to grow. People can move from Sleep Experts (Sales Associates) and with the available support from mentorship and different training available, they can then move into Management roles.
I don’t have any sales experience. Will I receive any training?
We want to make sure we set you up for success. Once a new hire begins, their training begins on their first day and lasts for three months. During this time a new hire will receive orientation to the company, IT training, and comprehensive sales training which includes selling on the floor with a mentor.
Additionally we have a training program called P90, where managers work directly with Associates to help get them to the management level. Once in a management position the training continues with Sleep University, where the focus is on leadership development.
What type of people are successful at your company? What does it take to get promoted?
People who share our values are very successful. People who believe in team work. People who are not afraid to work hard.
Associates are required to work every weekend and depending on the store they are in, they may be working alone during their shift. It is important to be driven and have the ability to work independently.
