Gayle Aradanas recently graduated from George Brown College’s Interaction Design and Development program and is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in digital experience design there. Leveraging on her background in UX/UI design, research and customer service, she also applies creativity, enthusiasm and empathy to her work. Gayle is passionate about inclusive design, design thinking and innovation, mental health, and is excited to create positive change within the youth employment system at Opportunity For All Youth.

Not knowing how to mop the floor “properly” like a figure-eight, when I started at McDonalds.
I was a Crew Member at McDonald’s.

While at H&M, I won a gift card for being the top sales associate in my department for increasing customer engagement!

Took on quite a few UX research and design projects during my time at George Brown College and was awarded for excellence in research and innovation.
Ali is a second-year student at York University pursuing an Honours Bachelor of Science with other interests in finance and marketing. He is a skilled leader and has taken on many leadership roles. He is very passionate about promoting healthy active living lifestyles. Ali is looking forward to working alongside the Opportunity For All Youth team to combat youth employment barriers across Canada.

#epicfail, most embarrassing work moment
At my last job as a soccer coach for younger children, I led a demo for a very simple drill, but I went a bit too fast on the wet and muddy field and completely wiped out! Every kid and parent started laughing as I stood up dripping in mud.

As a former soccer coach, my best work moments were always the last day of the season. I would take photos with the kids and their parents, and they would give me gifts, like a gift card or homemade cookies.
